Ledroit Park is a great community situated just North of Rhode Island Ave and East of Howard University Hospital. It was one of the District’s original neighborhoods founded in 1873, and first suburbs as it was outside the original boundaries of the City. Today it is a very popular residential neighborhood in the middle of the City.
